Jesus Christ was and is no ordinary human being. He was and is at the same time Son of man and Son of God. Millions of people over the centuries have chosen to believe his teaching, to follow him and to be identified by his name: Christian.
In much of the world today, Christ is rejected, Christians persecuted, and the Bible forbidden to be owned or read. Yet people around the world, when given the opportunity, still choose to follow Jesus. Why?
Here are only a few of the reasons why.
+ In him we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. +He is the image of the invisible Go +By Him all things were created. +All things were created by Him and for Him. +He is before all things and in Him all things hold together. +God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in Him. +And through Him God reconciled to Himself all things…… by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. +Once we were alienated from God and were enemies because of evil behavior. +Now we are holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusations ( From the Bible Colossians chapter 1).
The invitation is clear and open to all who choose to accept and follow Jesus.
Jesus said: ” Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
If you are not in God’s family trust Jesus today and join the ranks of the faithful believers from centuries past and present, and God will bless you and your family.
